TCQ authors recently received two prestigious article awards:

*   Carol Reeves was announced as this year's winner of the Nell Ann Pickett award, given for the best TCQ article in each volume. Dr. Reeves's article is "Scientific Visuals, Language, and the Commercialization of a Scientific Idea<http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/10572252.2011.578237>."  It was published in Technical Communication Quarterly, 20, 239-273.

*    Edward A. Malone was announced as this year's winner of the 2012 CCCC Technical and Scientific Communication Award in the category of Best Article Reporting Historical Research or Textual Studies. Dr. Malone's article is "Chrysler's 'Most Beautiful Engineer': Lucille J. Pieti in the Pillory of Fame<http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/10572250903559258>." It was published in Technical Communication Quarterly, 19, 144-183.
