It is my pleasure to encourage applications for a new tenure-track position at Colorado State University!  

 

Assistant Professor of English in Rhetoric of Science            

 

Colorado State University

 

Tenure-track, nine-month appointment, beginning August 16, 2019 

 

Full-time appointment in the English department with expectation of contributions to the interdisciplinary Microbiomes cluster. Required: PhD in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or closely related field in hand at time of appointment; evidence of scholarly potential; teaching ability. Teaching expectation of 2-2. This hire is expected to collaborate with a network of microbiome researchers across campus, in connection to the office of the Vice President for Research, to enhance interdisciplinary microbiome research. The microbiomes systems research community spans multiple colleges and departments at CSU. Start-up package provided. We encourage graduate students who will have the degree by appointment and professors of any rank to apply. The successful candidate will be appointed untenured and at the rank of Assistant Professor. 

 

Submit letter of interest, vita, sample publication(s) or researched writing, teaching dossier, and enter the name and contact information for three references who will receive a request for a letter of recommendation upon submission of your application.
