Dear Colleagues,

 

We opened a web site for our Communicating Science short course at
http://communicating-science.com/. The course is intended for science and
engineering students and early career researchers at universities and
research institutes that don't have a regular full semester scientific
writing course. The emphasis of the course is writing journal papers.

 

The web site includes a resources page
http://communicating-science.com/resources-for-students-faculty-and-writing-
centers/ which may interest this community with links to relevant lectures
and a suggested full semester scientific writing course outline, as well as
a blog page http://communicating-science.com/blog/ for writing suggestions,
questions, and discussions about scientific writing issues. Contributions to
the blog are welcome.
