ROLE of the POSITION

The Writing Center Director administers the Writing Center, including
scheduling, hiring, and training of staff; supervising the budget;
strategic planning; and management of staff, space, and equipment. The
Writing Center Director also generates reports, plans and conducts
workshops, and cooperates with other colleges and departments in order to
fulfill the mission of the Writing Center and meet the needs of UNLV
students.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a Master's from a regionally accredited college or
university and 1-3 years professional experience. Credentials must be
obtained prior to the start of employment. Ph.D. in Rhetoric, Composition
or Writing Center Studies preferred

SALARY RANGE

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position
is contingent upon funding.
