Dear colleagues, I’m doing a search for the history of the term “accessibility” in the context of disability within the general field of technical communication and rhetoric.

When was this term first used in our literature?

I will also appreciate any references you might have for the prominent discussions of this term in technical communication literature so that I do not miss an important work in my literature review.
