On behalf of the Conference on College Composition and Communication, it is my pleasure to congratulate you on winning the 2020 CCCC Technical and Scientific Communication Award in the category of Best Book in Technical or Scientific Communication for Rhetorical Work in Emergency Medical Services: Communicating in the Unpredictable Workplace! This year the committee, chaired by Sushil K. Oswal and including Laura Davies, Claire Lutkewitte, Octavio Pimentel, Sarah Prielipp, Michael Rifenburg, and Michelle Stuckey, had the difficult task of choosing among an outstanding field of submissions. Your book, however, was chosen as the best.

You will be presented with the award at the Awards Session of the 2020 CCCC Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The session is scheduled for Friday, March 27, at 6:10 p.m. in the Wisconsin Center, Ballroom D. I hope you can be there.
