The Department of English seeks a specialist in Technical Communication, with a preferred emphasis in one or more of the following areas: agricultural communication, environmental communication, engineering writing, and scientific writing. Responsibilities include teaching courses in the program’s curriculum at the introductory, upper-level, and graduate levels and developing one or more courses in the candidate’s area of specialization, in both face-to-face and online formats. In addition, candidates must be prepared to teach writing-intensive general education courses. Experience teaching technical/business communication at the college level is required, as is demonstrated preparation to teach online.
