Hi all,

*Programmatic Perspectives* issue 12.1 is now available at
https://cptsc.org/journal/current-issue/.



This special issue focuses on *Administering TPC Programs in Times of
Crisis*. The research articles, commentaries and program showcase reflect
on the extraordinary challenges of 2020, when technical and professional
communication programs faced ongoing and often simultaneous crises
including the COVID-19 global pandemic and events that brought renewed
attention to the long-standing crisis of violence perpetuated by racism,
systemic and otherwise, which are important to TPC programs.



The issue also includes book reviews of Carrie Marshall’s *Writing for
Social Media*, *Technical Communication After the Social Justice Turn:
Building Coalitions for Action*, authored by Rebecca Walton, Kristen R.
Moore and Natasha N. Jones and *Lean Technical Communication: Toward
Sustainable Program Innovation* by Meredith Johnson, Patricia Sullivan, and
W. Michele Simmons.
