[ATTW-L] Job Ad: Full-Time Tech Comm Lecturer at Georgia Tech

The Writing and Communication Program (WCP) in the School of Literature,
Media and Communication (LMC) at the Georgia Institute of Technology
invites applications for a full-time lecturer in Technical Communication to
begin on August 1, 2021. In addition to pursuing research in technical and
professional communication, the successful candidate will teach a 3-3 load
in technical communication courses, with an emphasis on the required
service courses, and help support the development of instructors in the
WCP. This is a faculty position with full benefits and is renewable
annually.



*Required Qualifications*

An earned degree (Master's or PhD) and a background check are required
prior to the appointment.  Applicants will have a record of excellence
teaching service courses in technical communication.



*Preferred Qualifications*

PhD in technical communication, experience with instructor
mentoring/preparation; scholarly expertise / research in technical /
professional communication; experience working with business and STEM
students; and relevant workplace experience. Candidates with research
expertise in Black Media, social justice, and/or environmental humanities
are encouraged to apply.
