Greetings from Antonio Byrd, Brandee Easter, and Chris Lindgren:
Co-Organizers of the Special Interest Group on the Writing and Rhetorics of
Code (SIGWROC)!

We’re excited to announce that SIGWROC will meet *Monday (04/05/2021) at
3:00pm-4:30pm (Eastern)* via Zoom just before 4Cs 2021 begins later that
week. During our meeting, we’ll cover two important topics!

*Breakout Discussions*: Anyone who is interested in how code and software
impact and are impacted by our lives will find our breakout discussions
groups inspiring and helpful. We will dedicate most of our session to
sharing our pedagogy and research projects and ideas. We hope to provide
everyone a space to produce possible collaborations.

*Group Elections*: The remaining time will be used to define future service
roles within the group (e.g. chair, associate chair, communication officer,
etc.) in preparation for our first elections for the group.

If you’re interested in joining us, please RSVP by filling out this Google
Form: https://forms.gle/MypBhUH1S1SkPqjh6. Your email address will only be
used to share the Zoom link and subsequent service elections.

If you want to learn more about the session, feel free to read our
