Thank you all in advance for your participation. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and please circle this survey within your networks! (also apologies for any cross-posting)

You are being invited to participate in a research study titled “'Dataveillance' in the Classroom: Advocating for Transparency and Accountability in College Classrooms” being conducted by Morgan Banville and Jason Sugg, graduate students at East Carolina University in the English department. The goal is to survey at minimum 50 faculty/staff members in/at four-year public institutions. The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. It is hoped that this information will assist us in better understanding the relationship between instructors and students in college classrooms, exploring the continuing impact of the normalization of educational technologies that support surveillance. The link to the Qualtrics survey may be accessed here: https://ecu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6YfVtqCK2OXfREa

Your responses will be kept confidential, and no data will be released or used with your identification attached. Your participation in the research is voluntary. You may choose not to answer any or all questions, and you may stop at any time. We will not be able to pay you for the time you volunteer while being in this study.
