[ATTW-L] Job ad: Assistant Professor in Technical Communication at Sam Houston State University

Dear Colleagues:
The Department of English at Sam Houston State University welcomes applications for an Assistant Professor of Technical and Professional Communication. This 9-month, tenure-track position starts with the Fall 2022 semester.
The program in technical communication at SHSU hosts a junior-level service course, ENGL 3330 Introduction to Technical Writing, which instructs approximately 800 students per semester. The minor and undergraduate certificate in technical and professional writing have experienced significant growth in recent years, with approximately 50 students currently enrolled. The online MA program in Technical Communication launched in Fall 2019 and graduated its first cohort of students in Summer 2021. Demand for the technical communication curriculum continues to increase, and this new faculty line will be the fourth tenure-track hire for the program in the last five years.
