[ATTW-L] Announcing 2022 ATTW Graduate Research Awards

ATTW is pleased to announce the 2022 ATTW Graduate Research Awards!

ATTW is committed to advancing the research of graduate students in technical and professional communication. This award supports advanced PhD students with clearly defined research projects that contribute to the field of technical and professional communication.

Up to three scholars will receive a monetary award ($500.00) to be used for research expenses. In addition, award recipients will be featured in a work-in-progress panel presentation at the 2022 virtual conference. The conference registration fee will be waived.

Preference will be given to doctoral students working on their dissertations.

Application Details
Interested students should submit (as one *.pdf file):

  *   a prospectus (no more than 2-3 single-spaced pages) that describes the current research project, its contribution(s) to disciplinary conversations in technical and professional communication, and plans for future work,
  *   a description of how the award will be used to support the research, and
  *   a current CV.

Completed applications should be submitted to ATTW Secretary, Dr. Ann Shivers-McNair shiversmcnair at arizona.edu<mailto:shiversmcnair at arizona.edu> by 11:59 PM PST on April 30, 2022.

Notification of award recipients: May 30, 2022
ATTW Virtual Conference: June 20-30, 2022
