Dear ATTW Colleagues,

Dr. Saveena Veeramoothoo and I need your help with a 10-minute survey for our research that interrogates justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) efforts in introductory technical and professional communication (TPC) courses. You will receive a $25 gift card for your participation.

We are conducting a CPSTC-funded research study that interrogates justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) efforts in introductory technical and professional communication (TPC) courses across institutions to understand the scope of JEDI work, the extent to which TPC instructors embrace these initiatives, and what directions they provide for teaching such courses. The results of the study will help the field of TPC to assess the state of introductory courses in the context of the social justice turn and suggest more socially just approaches and strategies for teaching introductory TPC courses. Our goal is to help increase understanding of how JEDI initiatives are being implemented across introductory TPC classes nationwide.
