Colleagues,

I am excited to share that the English department at Texas A&M
University-Corpus Christi is inviting applications for a tenure-track
position in Technical and Professional Writing. We are seeking a colleague
with a combination of two or more of the following specializations: digital
writing, multilingual writing, or intercultural writing.

The job advertisement at
https://tamus.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/TAMUCC_External/details/Assistant-Professor--English--Technical-and-Professional-Writing-_R-059019
 has
the full details and qualifications, but here are a few highlights:

The faculty member would teach in our established TPW programs and would be
invited to develop courses and programs in multilingual and intercultural
writing in partnership with other departments on campus and in the
community.

As a Hispanic-Serving Institution we are seeking colleagues who can
meaningfully contribute to equity and inclusion in the discipline and at
the institution, and who can implement programs and curricula responsive to
our institutional and regional context.

The TAMU-CC English department has a healthy and growing Writing Studies
track in the English BA, minors in Technical and Professional Writing,
Creative Writing, a generalist MA program, and programs such as the Writing
for Non-Profits certificate.

Sincerely,

Chris Andrews
