If you are looking for research or teaching material on the subject of racial and social justice, consider The California Reparations Report, issued yesterday by the nine-member Task Force to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans. The report “surveys the ongoing and compounding harms experienced by African Americans as a result of slavery and its lingering effects on American society today and proposes a comprehensive reparations plan” for the state of California.
