<p class="MsoNormal">Avery Edenfield’s, “Queering consent: Design and sexual consent messaging” is important work that gets at issues of design, ethics, and sexual consent. The success of the #MeToo movement has caused us to reassess what consent looks like.
Mainstream consent messaging provides a skewed perspective because it often excludes underrepresented groups (including LGBTQ+, sex workers, and different and nonnormative bodies). This article examines how queered communities approach more inclusive consent
