<p style="background:white"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Successful candidate will direct the M.A. in Technical Communication Program at Texas State University and teach graduate and undergraduate courses in technical communication and other areas
of writing. Duties include participation in established and growing graduate and undergraduate programs in technical communication, with classes taught online and face-to-face. Candidate expected to sustain a significant, ongoing research agenda leading to
peer-reviewed publication. Teaching load is negotiable and commensurate with duties that may include special research projects, administrative duties, supervision of theses, and grant writing. The successful applicant will receive the appropriate rank and

• A strong, ongoing record of productivity in scholarly publication and research in technical communication; • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in technical communication; • Expertise sufficient to teach graduate courses in core areas of
technical communication and area(s) of specialization; • Expertise sufficient to direct master’s theses and/or doctoral dissertations in technical communication; and • The successful applicant will receive the appropriate rank and title based on university
