<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">ATTW is committed to advancing the research of graduate students in technical and professional communication. This award supports advanced PhD students with clearly defined research projects that contribute
to the field of technical and professional communication.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Up to three scholars will receive a monetary award ($500.00) to be used for research expenses and/or to help defray the costs of attending the annual ATTW conference. In addition, award recipients will be
featured in a work-in-progress panel presentation at the 2020 annual conference in Milwaukee, WI. The conference registration fee will be waived.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Preference will be given to doctoral students working on their dissertations. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

communication, and plans for future work, <o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">a description of how the award will be used to support the research,<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">a current CV, and<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">a one-page letter of support from a faculty advisor who can confirm the graduate student’s status in the program and describe the project’s disciplinary contributions.<o:p></o:p></span></li></ul>
