<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">In
<i>Technical Communication after the Social Justice Turn: Building Coalitions for Action</i>, Walton and her co-authors Kristen Moore and Natasha Jones develop a four-part heuristic for enacting social justice in sites of work: 1)
<b>recognize</b> injustice, 2) <b>reveal</b> it to others, 3) <b>reject</b> the unjust practice, process, or behavior, and 4) work with others to
<b>replace</b> it. In this year’s Corbett Lecture, Walton will share findings from narrative-based inquiries about the processes of recognizing and revealing. How do people recognize injustice in their sites of work? What signals injustice to those who recognize
it as such? How do people reveal that injustice to others? What strategies do they use? What does revealing injustice at work actually look like in practice?

Lyon (2012), Margaret Price (2014), Jonathan Alexander (2015), Carmen Kynard (2016), Asao Inoue (2017), Karma Chávez (2018), and Natasha Jones (2019).
