is seeking to fill one position with the title of Teaching Instructor or Teaching Assistant Professor (depending upon qualifications) specializing in composition and business writing to begin August 10, 2020. This full-time non-tenure-track position is for
the fall and spring semesters of the 2020-2021 academic year only, with the possibility of subsequent appointments. The full-time teaching load is typically four courses per semester. Teaching will consist of hybrid (primarily face-to-face) courses, with the
possibility that some online courses may be assigned, depending on department and university need. Depending upon a candidate’s credentials, as well as the needs in the department, the Chair may assign other courses besides composition and/or business writing.
Service to the university, community, and profession is expected. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications, and full-time positions include benefits. The department seeks to attract a culturally and academically diverse faculty.</span></span></div>

institutions. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of and experience in teaching courses in first-year writing, writing about the disciplines, and business writing.</span></span></div>
