It is an odd thing right now to be inviting academic work, as racial injustices, a pandemic, and environmental disasters are part of the everyday, preventing many--often already minoritized folks--from being able to pretend like things are normal. All of that
is to say, nothing is normal, and as an academic soliciting work from other academics, I want to acknowledge that and also offer my support if you would like to talk through sustainable and manageable ways for you to submit and participate in ARSTM events.
