<div dir="auto">It’s striking how quickly composition and tech writing hires have moved to non tenure track. We created such positions at U Delaware when I chaired, but we also strenuously argued to maintain a balance of TTFAC and NTTFAC. These look like good teaching positions with very reasonable loads at Illinois. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">At UD, we were AAUP, and the positions we created had salary parity, sabbaticals, full voting rights, and promotion tracks through full professor.
