are looking for a versatile instructor with a terminal degree (Ph.D.) in English or a related field who can teach interdisciplinary courses that emphasize digital modes of composition, text, and analysis in a vibrant new major that bridges English with our
School of Computing and Information (SCI). We are especially interested in pedagogical approaches that connect issues of racial justice, climate, and environment or gender and sexuality to contemporary digital modes.<i class="" style="box-sizing: border-box;"> </i>The
successful candidate will teach gateway courses such as Narrative and Technology and Digital Humanity and more advanced courses such as Interactive Literature and Composing Digital Media. This future colleague will also be encouraged to develop current areas
of strength in the major, which include print media, making, and game design. We especially welcome candidates who are interested in extending established connections with maker spaces and labs on campus and in the community and/or candidates with experience
