<p><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Department of English at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, anticipates a limited number of full-time, non-tenure-track 9-month Lecturer positions to teach business and technical
writing and first-year composition courses during the 2023-2024 academic year, with the possibility of teaching creative writing and/or literary studies in future years to meet departmental needs. There is also an opportunity to teach in Haining, China, through
a partnership with the Zhejiang University-University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Institute (ZJUI). These positions are one-year appointments and covered by a

collective bargaining agreement</a>; renewal of the position is possible and contingent on availability of funding, strong enrollments, and strong performance reviews.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
