While you’re teaching your online classes during this crisis, a timely example for class discussion might be the “Crimson Contagion” report, analyzing the findings (in text and illustrations) from a 2019 simulation by the US Department of Health and Human Services of a flu pandemic.
The report is available from The New York Times at https://int.nyt.com/data/documenthelper/6824-2019-10-key-findings-and-after/05bd797500ea55be0724/optimized/full.pdf.
