Hi all!

Our department (writing, rhetoric, and digital studies) teaches a number of the graduation writing requirement courses here at the University of Kentucky, including a writing in the sciences course for chemistry, biology, animal sciences, and some other STEM majors. It's equivalent to our intro techcom course for engineers.

Here's a link to all of my materials for the course, including the syllabus which might be most helpful. The specific assignments might also be useful for y'all though. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-pf_5vHEKqGpl7Svc0y_ciNeKrtoxk8V

Feel free to use, modify, etc any of these materials as you find useful!

Following. Mine is considering a similar offering and for first years. I’d love to learn about what folks are doing / have done to make these accommodations.

Thank you

Hello everyone--

My department is thinking of offering some of our Intro to Technical Writing courses targeted specifically to our science-based/STEM majors on campus.

I'm having a hard time finding examples of universities that offer such a course. Does anyone know of/teach such a course at your university? I'm wondering what assignments would be in such a course?

Thanks! I appreciate your help.
