Workshop: Introduction to Open Fuego and basic coding (4Cs 2023)

Do you and your students use sites like Squarespace and Wix to create webtexts and digital documents? What if instead, you could achieve the same results using a free and open-source tool that also helps your students learn a little about code? It’s easier than you think.



In this Saturday morning workshop, you will learn to:

  *   quickly build webtexts and websites using Open Fuego
  *   make sense of how html code works
  *   edit content using a code editor
  *   upload and host sites on GitHub
  *   find additional coding resources
  *   apply best practices to facilitate basic coding in your classroom
