Dear Colleagues,

A new special issue of *Rhetoric of Health and Medicine* has arrived!

Issue 7.1, “Queer And Trans Health Justice: Interventions, Perspectives,
And Questions,” was compiled by guest editors Drs. Fernando Sanchez,
McKinley Green, and Wilfredo Flores. In the introduction, the editors
write, “[W]e hope this special issue both highlights the work occurring
around health inequity in RHM and reshapes the parameters of our field’s
disciplinary purview and commitments” and consider the articles found
within to be an “entry point” for such endeavors.

Featured articles include:

Ø “Trans Tricksters, Looping Effects, and Gender Diagnoses as Containment”
by V. Jo Hsu

Ø “Menstrual Methodologies: On Menstrual Pain and the Importance of
Ungendering Bleeding” by Ela Przybylo

Ø “Toward a Queer and (Trans)Formative Methodology for Rhetoric of Health
and Medicine: Institutional Critique” by Ruby Mendoza

Ø “Bodies of Knowledge: Biomarkers and Rhetoric of the Body” by Sarah
Price and Richard Mocarski

Ø Book Review: On Hil Malatino’s (2020) *Trans Care *by Teresa Williams
