If you are looking for a sample research report of survey results related to social justice, check Early Insights: A Report of the 2022 Transgender Survey (available at https://transequality.org/sites/default/files/2024-02/2022%20USTS%20Early%20Insights%20Report_FINAL.pdf.
This 23-page report includes two major sections:
1) a detailed explanation of the survey’s methodology, including techniques for developing and distributing the instrument and assessing and reporting the findings
2) a display of key findings, using pie charts, bar charts, and bulleted lists
The report covers a variety of topics (e.g., “Gender Identity and Transition” “Income, Employment, Workplace Experiences, and Housing Stability,” “Harassment and Violence”).
The survey also notes “The top 10 states from which respondents moved because of state laws targeting transgender people for unequal treatment were (in alphabetical order): Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.”
