The explosion in conspiracy theories and agitating claims and conjectures by election deniers (as well as by climate/science/equality/civility deniers) offers a growing opportunity and ethical responsibility for technical communicators. TCs are especially equipped through their writing and research skills to assist their organizations and communities with plain language corrections of misinformation/disinformation.
