If you are looking for a sample of a technical report with obvious social justice implications, consider the 2024 March of Dimes Report Card: The State of Maternal and Infant Health for American Families.
The full report (in English) is available at https://www.marchofdimes.org/sites/default/files/2024-11/2024_MOD_Report_Card_and_Policy_Actions_Booklet_V1.pdf and includes a brief executive summary, policy recommendations, list of references, technical notes on definitions and methods, and a series of graphics detailing “the collective factors that contribute to maternal and infant mortality and morbidity” for the entire US and for each of the fifty states and Puerto Rico. A cover photo and caption of a surviving baby and mother serve as a vivid reminder of the real human beings implied in the report’s statistical displays.
