About Techne Forge:
Techne Forge is an academic/practitioner publication dedicated to exploring
the intersections of technology, communication, and creativity in
professional contexts. The primary goal of Techne Forge is to confront the
practical questions related to communication and AI. We want to develop
realistic, practical approaches to communication technology. There is a lot
to consider, and more all the time. Our mission is to encourage
experimentation and the development of effective practices as AI continues
to impact all types of information and knowledge work. This CFP seeks
contributions aimed at the emerging role of AI in personalized learning and
professional development for professionals across levels and formats.
Targeted Topics:
For this review cycle, we are particularly interested in papers that
explore the following topics:
1. Organizational Culture and AI-Driven Learning
How do AI-driven learning tools impact organizational culture? What roles
do leadership and HR play in fostering an environment that encourages
self-motivated growth and continuous learning?
2. Human-AI Collaboration in Creativity
How can AI complement human creativity in workplace brainstorming and
innovation? What are the best practices for integrating AI into creative
processes while maintaining human intuition and innovation?
3. Equity and Access in AI-Driven Professional Development
What are the implications of AI on equity in professional development? How
can AI help democratize learning opportunities within organizations, and
what challenges might it pose?
4. Ethical and Legal Frameworks for AI in Workplace Learning
What ethical and legal considerations should be addressed when implementing
AI in workplace learning and development? How do organizations navigate the
tension between innovation and ethical responsibility?
5. Psychological Impact of AI in Professional Development
How do AI-driven tools for self-reflection and career development affect
employees' psychological well-being, motivation, and career satisfaction?
What are the implications for employees' sense of agency and professional
identity?
Submission Guidelines:
Potential Contributions: Case studies, AI empirical evaluation or analysis,
practical guides, and timely critical commentary.
Format: Submissions should be between 1,500-3,000 words and follow APA
formatting guidelines.
