Hi all,

My department (Business Information Systems) is hiring an *open-rank
position* (*TT -Assistant or Associate level)* professor of Business
Communication at *Central Michigan University*. We are in the great lakes
area with lots of Michigan lakes surrounding us.

Our department has specializations in business communication, information
systems, data analytics and cybersecurity, and we very much welcome
interdisciplinary work (with several of my colleagues and I publishing in
technical or business communication journals).

We are looking for candidates with an active interest in the connections
between communication, rhetoric, and technology. We are looking for people
who can teach courses in one or more areas such as visual communication,
intercultural communication, social media or digital media. If you have
industry experience and research in emerging areas that is desirable.

Deadline to apply: *October 3, 2024*

The chair is my colleague *Dr. James Melton* (james.melton at cmich.edu) and
you can also ask me *Dr. Gustav Verhulsdonck*, questions at
gverhulsdonck at gmail.com.

Happy to help!
Best wishes,
Gustav
