Sharing on Jenn Fishman’s behalf:

Dear colleagues,

Apply to participate in the Naylor Symposium on Undergraduate Writing. Applications are due 6/15.

If you're involved in undergraduate research in rhetoric and composition/writing studies, including technical communication and professional writing, we hope you'll apply to join us at York College in Pennsylvania from September 27th -29th, 2018.

Specifically: This watershed event calls together colleagues from all quarters of writing studies involved in steering undergraduate research in our field. Over three days, participants will work together to articulate shared priorities and goals for UR in writing. Time will be divided between plenary discussions and working groups that examine the following eight motifs:

  *   Mentoring
  *   Contribution to Knowledge
  *   Research Methods
  *   Dissemination
  *   Institutional Support
  *   Curricula & Co-Curricula
  *   Impact
  *   Access

All participants will be eligible to contribute to related publications.
