*Assistant Professor of English: Technical Writing*
Position:  Louisiana Tech University is seeking a nine-month tenure-track
Assistant Professor of English to teach technical writing for fall
2018.  Salary
is competitive.  Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Technical Writing/Communication
or English with a specialization and dissertation in Technical Writing
required. Evidence of potential for publication, as well as experience in
online pedagogy and web-course design is desired.  Responsibilities: The
position duties include teaching both graduate and undergraduate-level
technical writing courses and serving on graduate committees of M. A.
candidates with a concentration in technical writing. The course load is 3
sections per quarter with reductions for administrative assignments.

*The Program:*  The English Department offers a concentration and minor in
technical writing at the undergraduate level, a graduate certificate in
technical writing, and an M.A. in English with a Technical Writing
