[ATTW-L] Visiting Faculty in Business Communication

Dear ATTW Colleagues,

I’m am pleased to announce that my department just received approval to hire a visiting faculty in business communication. Please circulate the following job ad to anyone you know who might be interested, especially recently finished graduate students.

Visiting Faculty of Writing. The Department of Writing at Grand Valley State University seeks to fill a full-time (9-month) Visiting Faculty position beginning August 6, 2019 to teach courses in business communication. A Ph.D. in Rhetoric, Technical or Professional Communication, English (or related field) or ABD status is required by time of employment. Candidates need to have expertise and experience teaching business communication, preferably in both traditional classrooms and computer labs. The teaching load is four courses per semester. This is a one-year non-tenure track position with the possibility of renewal up to three years, depending on funding and need. This position is designed for candidates planning to seek permanent positions elsewhere.
