Please join me in congratulating ATTW member Carlos Evia on the publication of his new book Creating Intelligent Content with Lightweight DITA which was just released last month.  Carlos's book is part of the ATTW Series in Technical and Professional Communication published by Routledge. Carlos's book provides TPC students and practitioners with a much needed and accessible introduction to the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) widely used in industry. His book has the goal of making concepts of structured authoring and intelligent content easier to learn and teach in humanities-based writing and communication programs. His work simplifies the authoring experience for both students and industry practitioners by introducing the new Lightweight DITA standard (LwDITA) which Carlos helped create through his service on the standards committee.
