A bit delayed here, but I wanted to join Tharon in saying, Congrats Carlos!

The book is an important contribution to the body of research on content management and to the teaching of content management, particularly now as more and more organizations large and small adopt intelligent content. I will definitely be reading it more closely over the next few months and thinking about implications for my own teaching.

Congrats again!

Carlos’s book is part of the ATTW Series in Technical and Professional Communication published by Routledge. It’s available from Routledge at https://www.routledge.com/Creating-Intelligent-Content-with-Lightweight-DITA/Evia/p/book/9780815393825 <https://www.routledge.com/Creating-Intelligent-Content-with-Lightweight-DITA/Evia/p/book/9780815393825> as well as Amazon.

His book has the goal of making concepts of structured authoring and intelligent content easier to learn and teach in humanities-based writing and communication programs. His work simplifies the authoring experience for both students and industry practitioners by introducing the new Lightweight DITA standard (LwDITA) which Carlos helped create through his service on the standards committee.
