[ATTW-L] New Chair appointed to CPTSC Administrators' Committee

I'm pleased to announce that the CPTSC Executive Committee recently approved Dr. Julia Romberger as Chair of its Administrators' Committee. Dr. Romberger succeeds Dr. Tammy Rice-Baily, the committee's Chair for the past three years.

Dr. Romberger has served as Professional Writing program coordinator for Old Dominion University since 2007. In that time, she had spearheaded the overhaul of the master's degree curriculum, assisted in developing two emphases within the PhD program, one focused on Writing and Discourse Studies and one on Technology and New Media, and developed a variety of professional writing courses at the undergraduate, master's and PhD levels.

The CPTSC Administrators' Committee is responsible for addressing topics of value to faculty and administrators in technical and scientific communication programs. In the past, the committee has created white papers on program assessment, service learning, program recruiting, student collaboration, social media, and teaching grant writing.
