[ATTW-L] Our Vital Discussion

I've been teaching tech writing adjacent courses for some time now, but I
still consider myself part of the field.

I wanted to express my gratitude for those who have done emotional work on
the list and on twitter: calling out racist statements, leading the
discussion, setting clear boundaries, providing history and background, and
supporting those who have done all of that.

I've been lucky enough to teach BIPOC and international students, as well
as students who, while American, have spent significant time overseas
(Clinton School for Public Service students must work outside of the US for
a semester: this is a wide range of work, like women's health policy,
infrastructure work, and/or direct advocacy.) They have enriched--and
changed--my worldview and my teaching.

I'm listening and re-examining my own practices and syllabi for the fall.
