Dear Colleagues (with apologies for cross-posting):

We're currently inviting submissions for the next two issues of Xchanges
<https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xchanges.org%2F&data=02%7C01%7Cstephanie.vie%40ucf.edu%7C1324e49d1a6f4d4b271608d6e5e03f13%7Cbb932f15ef3842ba91fcf3c59d5dd1f1%7C0%7C0%7C636949148649825961&sdata=02cCuVsfBIgdTaC0T4BmNThY0pfxkv%2Fw48CymNnL4cI%3D&reserved=0>,
an open-access, faculty-reviewed journal of graduate and undergraduate
research in Technical Communication, Writing/Rhetoric, and Writing Across
the Curriculum. Our mission is to mentor students through the review and
publication process and to serve as a teaching resource through the
exemplary graduate and undergraduate scholarship we publish.

If you're a graduate or undergraduate student working on primary research
in a writing studies-related field, we know you're doing some impressive
scholarship, and we want to read it! Please consider submitting. And if you
teach grad students or upper-division undergrads, you've likely read or are
reading some astounding work right now, so we hope you'll share this call
with your students and encourage them to submit.

The submission deadline for issues 15.2 (our fall issue featuring
undergraduate student research) and 16.1 (our spring issue featuring
graduate student research) is June 30. We consider work
in both "traditional" and multimodal formats.

And please be on the lookout in the coming days for an announcement
regarding our soon-to-go-live spring 2020 grad student issue containing
three excellent full-length articles on rhetoric and public memory in a
mining community, mimetics as digital culture, and student perceptions of
writing instruction on Twitter, plus a Symposium on the Status of Graduate
Study in Rhetoric and Composition comprised of 12 different pieces by
graduate students, collaboratively envisioned and including voices from
DBLAC, nextGEN, WAC-GO, and WPA-GO.
