The faculty member in this position will:
Teach three courses (9 credit hours) each semester in a variety of delivery modes (in-seat, asynchronous online, or hyflex [i.e. with simultaneous in-seat and online delivery]) and at a variety of levels, most commonly first-year writing and courses in the professional writing track of the English major and minor, and intermittently graduate courses in writing pedagogy;
Sustain a consistent record of publication in the field of composition and rhetoric or writing studies;
Participate in the shared governance of the department and university through engaged, conscientious, and collaborative departmental, university, and professionally-related service;
Actively mentor assigned graduate student TAs and, with additional compensation, assigned dual enrollment high school instructors in the teaching of first-year writing;
