Please join us next Friday, May 21, 1-4pm ET for KairosCamp-Lite, a
workshop for authors interested in creating/refining webtexts or DH
projects. The event will include a 90-min intro on planning your project
w/plenty of Q&A time + 90 min of 1:1 time with editors in breakouts.

KairosCamp-Lite is a 3-hour workshop on how to start a DH project and/or
webtext suitable for submission to a digital journal like Kairos! While
this workshop will be staffed by a dozen Kairos editors, the info we
provide will be useful for authors with a wide-ranging interest in creating
digital humanities-type projects that may undergo peer review. The first 90
minutes will present a rhetorical framework for planning your project, with
Q&A, and the second 90 minutes will include breakout rooms with
individual/small groups of editors who you can talk to one-on-one to get
feedback about beginning, in-progress, or advanced digital projects.

Note that you do NOT need to have an active project in mind to attend this
free workshop. If you are *thinking* about creating a webtext-like project
or if you have already created a bunch of stuff around one, this workshop
will be of use to you to help you plan, refine, scope.
