[ATTW-L] CFP: SCCI 2022 at Old Dominion University

Good morning, colleagues—
I'm writing to circulate the CFP for the 11th Annual Symposium on Communicating Complex Information (SCCI). This hybrid event will be held Feb. 28-Mar. 1, 2022 at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA with virtual options for presenters and keynotes. More information on the event can be found at scciannual.com.

We have two keynotes lined up this year:

Event Keynote
Dr. Aimee Kendall Roundtree, Texas State University
Dr. Roundtree is the Associate Dean of Research and Promotion in the College of Liberal Arts and a Professor in the technical communication program at Texas State University. She is the author of Computer Simulation, Rhetoric, and the Scientific Imagination (2013, Lexington Books) and dozens of articles in the field of technical communication. She has served as a qualitative and UX researcher, communication and public affairs specialist, and a medical writer for organizations such as the Texas Medical Foundation, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Baylor College of Medicine, and Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force Base.

Keynote for Health & Medical Communication Track
Dr. Kirk St.Amant, Louisiana Tech University
Dr. St.Amant is a Professor and the Eunice C. Williamson Endowed Chair of Technical Communication at Louisiana Tech University (USA) and is a Research Faculty member with Tech’s Center for Biomedical Engineering and Rehabilitation Science (CBERS). He is also an Adjunct Professor of International Health and Medical Communication with the University of Limerick (Ireland), a Guest Professor of Usability and Design with Southeast University (China), and a Research Fellow and an Affiliated Faculty Member with the University of Strasbourg (France). Dr. St.Amant's academic and consulting work focuses on health and medical communication, usability and user experience design, international and intercultural communication, and online education and training with a focus on instructional design.
