?I second that, Tharon. My TW students just finished analyzing the Field Survey report from the Champlain Towers Collapse. Solid gold.

You are such a *treasure*, Sam. I can't thank you enough for these gems that you've so casually dropped over the years. I just wanted to let you know that I use them regularly in my Tech Writing courses, so you're not wasting your time. You've saved me hours and hours of research looking for both good and bad examples of memo & technical report writing.

Thank you, my friend!

Tharon

If you are looking for a provocative example of corporate communication on the subject of ethics, consider the e-mail message distributed to Activision Blizzard employees by Executive Vice President for Corporate Affairs Fran Townsend regarding remedies for a corporate culture notorious for claims of sexual harassment and discrimination (see, for example, https://www.wired.com/story/activision-blizzard-employees-walk-out-after-allegations-of-rampant-sexism/) .

The message was published yesterday on the corporate site at
https://www.activisionblizzard.com/content/atvi/activisionblizzard/ab-touchui/ab/web/en/newsroom/2021/10/creating-a-more-accountable-workplace.html

I imagine a lively classroom conversation about the language, organization, and design of this message as well as of the likely/unlikely efficacy of the proposed remedies.
