  Introduction to Audio Analysis

March 25, 2022

Presenter: Christopher Lucas, Washington University in St. Louis

Christopher Lucas, Ph.D. will lead this workshop outlining methodological advancements in the analysis of nontextual cues in speech. He will demonstrate the use of the model of speech and audio structure (MASS), a tool he helped develop that captures and analyzes critical data from vocal tones and inflection in political communication that text alone does not provide.
