Dear Colleagues,


East Carolina University is searching for a new department chairperson. We
have a thriving online MA program in technical communication, a brand new
BS in Writing and Information Design, and a strong PhD program in Writing,
Rhetoric, and Professional Communication. We're searching for a chair who
can advocate effectively for those growing and established programs in
addition to a number of other literature- and language-focused
undergraduate and graduate programs and certificates. The official
