Hello, ATTW folks!


*Who: *WAC-GO and the AWAC Mentoring Committee are hosting a spring event
open to graduate students interested in learning more about writing across
the curriculum (WAC), writing in the disciplines (WID), writing-enriched
curriculum (WEC), and writing across the globe (WAG).


*When and Where:* The event will take place virtually on *May 16th from
4:00-5:30 Eastern (3:00-4:30 Central, 2:00-3:30 Mountain, 1:00-2:30
Pacific). *


*What:* “Joining the Conversation: Learning about WAC” is a virtual
workshop intended to help graduate students from across the disciplines and
writing studies learn about WAC and will feature breakout rooms by experts
in a number of WAC-related topics. These topics were identified through a
survey completed by graduate students across the country:

   - Joining WAC conversations and networks (include conferences)
   - Teaching writing in the disciplines
   - TILT assignment design
   - Teaching writing in STEM
   - Inclusion-Diversity-Equity-Accessibility (IDEA) in WAC
   - Demystifying WAC program administration
