Hello, ATTW colleagues.
The Department of Technical Communication & Interactive Design at
Kennesaw State University is looking for a 9-month Limited-Term
Instructor / Assistant Professor of Technical Communication. The
position begins August 2022.
*Responsibilities*
The selected candidate will be asked to deliver 5 sections per semester
of primarily TCOM 2010: Technical Writing. A fully online teaching
schedule will be offered. Faculty will work with a wide variety of
students from diverse backgrounds.
*Required Qualifications*
Limited Term Instructor – a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent,
in Technical Communication or a closely related field
Limited Term Assistant Professor – a terminal degree, or the foreign
equivalent, in Technical Communication or a closely related field
*Preferred Qualifications*
Prior teaching experience with undergraduate or graduate students
Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and ethnically
diverse community
Experience teaching 100% online or hybrid courses
